Arwa (Arabic: أروى), born Iman Salem Ba'amiran (Arabic: إيمان سالم باعميران) on July 27, 1986 in Kuwait, is a female Yemeni singer and television host for MBC.
At the age of ten her family moved to Cairo where she later received her education at Cairo University studying engineering. She began her singing career in 1999 and has released four albums.
In 2009, Arwa became host for an entertainment television show called Akher Man Ya'lam (The Last To Know). The first episode was aired on September 27, 2009 on MBC 1.[2]
In the beginning of 2011, Arwa filmed her new program called "Lu", which translates to "If". She hosts many different well known celebrities. The basis of the show is to reveal her guests reactions to her played out stories. In addition, she talks about their career and "Lu" (If) it could have gone the other way, what could have happened. It is entertaining show, to see each celebrity's action. It is still airing on MBC as of today.
In 2010, Arwa received a Golden Award for her television show at the "Khalij" radio and television festival.

Arwa's first album, "Rajak Wagtek" was her first album to hit stores in July 1999. Arwa has made two hit singles, "Asmar Saharny Jamalah", and "Rajak Wagtek" which she filmed both. It was aired on YemenTV because the song was in the Yemeni style.
Arwa's second album, "Ahla Ayyami", was released in May 2003. It was the album that made her come out in popularity in the Middle East, and included the smash hit singles, "Ahla Ayyami", and "Reesha Ala Rasek" which is in the rich khaliji accent.
Arwa's third album, "Inta Arefny", released in October 2006, had two of her hottest singles, "Ma Aby", and "Weshloun Yekhsarny".
Arwa's fourth album, "Hobak Inta", was released in June 2007. It was her best selling music album, and ranked quite high in 2007. The hit single "Eineik" still features prominently on radio and TV channels. The song "Hobbak Inta" was a classic and played in many radio stations. The video clip for this song was filmed by director Randa Aalam and was featured on MelodyTunes, MelodyArabia, and Rotana. Arwa recieved an award for new hot singer of the year.
Her 5th CD, "Ghaseb Anak", was released in May 2010. This album was to show everyone, that even though she is of Yemeni descent (which the music industry is not popular there) , she is able to be out there on the top of the charts. It was difficult to complete her album while hosting the most popular show on MBC, "Akher Men Yalem". In this album, she recorded her single "Ghaseb Anak", with Director, Marwan King. Also her other single, "Hasses Biya", with Fadi Haddad, one of the most professional music video director in the middle east. He also filmed her other latest video "Jeetak" late 2010.
