I am a spiritual being, controlling a physical body in this reality. I believe I have begun to understand the meaning of why we are here. To unlock different aspects of consciousness, perception, and realities means to understand a multidimensional synchronicity, therefore gaining a much broader picture of our "reality" - which, I believe, is much more than what you see with your two retinas.
I believe The mind is extremely powerful, but the potential of grasping different ways of thinking are hidden deep within, waiting to be unlocked. Dreams can be perceived as clues, as they are but one of the many altered states experienced that you can bridge - that you can carry into your conscious mind. Dream states are different realities - a much more dynamic reality than the one we are experiencing right now. Again, dreams are but one thing that show the truly multidimensional nature of our overall reality. Our spirits remain constant throughout these, separated by ego and fear, which are only constant in our conscious state of mind. Once I started understanding and believing these things, I was able to separate my spirit from my body - and I have found nothing but continued joy, understanding and synchronicity since then.

Movies and Shows: I mainly watch other vloggers/interesting videos on YouTube these days. Hollywood seems very tired to me, trying always to capture the spotlight with their next big hit. YouTube is about the interaction and distributed exposure for everyone willing to put themselves out there - a much more evolved model, if you ask me.
Music: Tool, Thrice, Incubus...these are some of my favorites, although I try to expose myself to much more. I am somewhat biased toward music because I think I put too much weight into the message they try to convey. I am trying to be more open-minded and look at all of the different ways that music can be great, including pop, rap, country, and other general styles that I generally dismiss because of the label.

why subordinate the unmindful to the mindful, i wonder?
Do you really have control of your physical body, or is control of your physical body something the conscious mind, your mind for example, strives for? In this striving-for, is there perhaps not some all too worldly reason? Fear perhaps? -- as the cause of striving for the non-worldly, or other-worldly, or the perfect, such as when in your ego, intuition video you talk of how children begin with the worldly and grow into your way of thinking. Is fear, in whatever manifestation, perhaps the all-too-worldly reason for an abstention from the world, doesn't transcendence presuppose a backdrop of grander world-hood in which the transcending of the ego can occur as activity?
