About Me:
Mexico produces a lot of great boxers. So does Puerto Rico. However in the era of the well regarded boxer in Manny Pacquiao, the boxing world has come to witness the influx of promising and talented Filipino boxers. True, it may take long, if not never, for the aspiring Filipino Boxers to at least equal the feat of the Philippines national treasure. Manny Pacquiao has given a nation tremendous pride and hope in the face of so many adversities, economically and politically.
This channel is dedicated to Manny Pacquiao.
And also to the Brave Filipino Warriors. Though sometimes defeated in front of the much more superior fighters, they stood toe to toe and fought graciously in the name of the Filipino Nation.

THAILAND--Highly rated Filipino prospect Drian Francisco claimed the most significant victory of his fledgling career by knocking out Thai veteran Duanpetch Kokietgym to claim the interim WBA World super flyweight title.
The experienced Kokietgym has fought 53 times and had not been beaten since 2007 and was expected to provide a stern test of Francisco's world title credentials.
The Thai fighter was down and out for only the second time in 54 fights and Francisco was crowned the interim WBA World super flyweight champion. It is still a performance which will still raise a lot of questions about the Filipino prospect, who remains unbeaten after 21 fights.
yeah i saw the fights was mostly interested in berto and the marquez fights i mean berto KTFO'd his opponent and marquez fought a war and won
thanks for the sub
CEBU CITY -- Milan 'El ' Melindo displayed awesome boxing skills to dominate former world champion Carlos Tamara of Columbia to win by unanimous decision at the Waterfront Hotel here Saturday night. The judges' scores were 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93 all for the Cagayan de Oro native Melindo.
Melindo (23-0-0, 7KO), clearly fighting way above his weight and who gave Tamara 3 inches in height advantage and a lot of body bulk, threw everything at Tamara including the kitchen sink but was unable to put away the Columbian who kept on coming until the last round. Tamara reinforced his reputation as a durable boxer who won over former world champion Brian Viloria by sheer stamina.
Melindo however was up to the task as he did not force the issue and was content to finish the fight ahead on every scorecards displaying, along the way, a finesse boxing talent.
Melindo is now looking forward to fight for a title when the opportunity comes.
Go Pinoy! :D
