marian16rox: A lot of non-animal sources have protein. Soy-based foods, gluten veggie meat, legumes, beans... There are also meat substitutes you could buy.

So many people kill animals just for food and so what if their tasty? You still shouldn't kill them, because we have our own food like lettuce and tomatoes what can the human race want more of?!

MsBluePools: We've been supplied with natural foods like plants so why take the lifes of animals? Aren't they equal to us? People only realise when they see how they're slaughtered. Infact most still go on and eat it after. My friends used to tell me it was HUMANE the way they are killed I'm with you completely

vampangel5159: yeah i believe that it is cruel because i believe that every animal has a family and that when they are killed that that family suffers their loss. its my opinion.....like in my family im the only vegetarian and my family is always trying to get me to eat meat because they think that im lacking protein, but i always say no. im a vegetarian and i plan to stay that way.

Animal fur!
Opium1958: Animal fur was a source of warmth since the beggining of time; However we have heating and other heating alternatives now so why do we need fur? I think fur is fashionable but theres faux fur now so again theres no excuse, I also believe people have the right to wear or eat whatever they want this is America, but we do need to keep trying to teach people that there are alternatives out there. Don't give up on your fellow man.
mdragon180: I agree. We don't need to wear real fur anymore. There is no excuse for this trade to go on. They way these animals are killed - so as not to damage the fur - is beyond cruel! Many are skinned alive! So awful!
