Well many european countrys opposed invasion on iraq, (only UK poland and spain supported the iraq invasion) regarding afganistan the invasion was a indeed a brutal thing, but it ended a tyranny of religious fanatics. who sought to destroy everthing thats not releted to islam, the blew up thounds years old statues of buddha, in the name of islam. Sorry but this kinda of fanatism is unacceptable nowadays, yes i agree people should choose their own goverment and Taliban regime was established end living with violence, and was a serious threat and violation of basic human rights, i belive there was even a so called "religious comission" for evertyhing even the length of somebodys beard.
