The Black Googlers Network (BGN) is proud to host celebrities Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker on February 11, 2013 as part of our Black History Month events. After their daughter was diagnosed with spina bifida, they decided to start a health based initiative, Strive to Thrive, to educate minorities on healthy eating and living. They also started Sophie's Voice Foundation to raise money for spina bifida research and prevention. Join us for their panel discussion about their careers and their newest projects at 1:00 PM PST.

Dale and Leslie Chihuly stop by the Googleplex for a conversation about the upcoming Seattle exhibition: Chihuly Garden and Glass. Joining the conversation is Michelle Bufano, the Chihuly Garden and Glass Executive Director. Dale will first discuss his career and inspirations for the exhibition. Following that, Leslie discusses community involvement and the Seattle culture scene. Marissa Mayer then moderates a Q&A with Dale, Leslie, and Michelle.
