اشهد ان لا اله الا الله
و اشهد ان محمد عبده و رسوله
I testify that there is no God except Allah
And that Muhammad (s) is His servant and Messsnger

وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاء فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىَ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

"And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited, and remember the favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became brethren; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, thus does Allah make clear to you His communications that you may follow the right way." (Qur'an- 3:103)

i strongly believe in unity between Muslims of all different schools of thought; the enemy knows the power of unity, therefore they try and disunite the Muslims. i hate it when people disrespect their Muslim brothers and sisters because of their school of thought.

Muslims, wake up. No matter what school of thought you follow, you all claim to follow the final Messenger (s)! I fail to comprehend how you can claim to be following "the mercy to the worlds" and at the same time, you have the worst of morals. Yes, it is necessary to discuss the differences between Muslims; but for God's sake could you please do it in a way that the final Messenger (s) would actually approve of, instead of immature name-calling (wahabi! nasibi! rafidhi!), slander and lies.

Personally, i decided some time back that i would try my best to find the correct madhab to follow and since then i have been trying to research into the differences between Muslims (the split that occured after the passing of the final messenger (s) ). I really want to find the truth, and would be really grateful if there are any brothers and sisters willing to bring forward arguments and discuss some of these issues with me!

I also want to learn more about the concept of "wilayat-al-faqih" since i really don't know very much about it, so if anyone could provide any material i would also be grateful!

Finally, please remember the Ummah in your du'aas. Oh Allah, help us become one Ummah, united under the banner of "La ilaha illallah; Muhammadur rasoolullah!".
