Just wondering, because I have no idea whether or not I did a good job, for my first secure expansion, I had 3 different options, 2 planets with crap resources and 1 with allright (4m 3c), but it was guarded by a fortress, so I sent a small fleet to divert it's attention from the coming attack, and lead it away a fair distance.
That tiny fleet was able to get it down to about half health, and completely diverted it from taking out part of my main fleet and distracting it.
Is this a one-time thing? (Playing with 2 level 5 random ais, no expansions) or will I not be able to do this again because of the learning ai?
I love feeling like ender wiggin while I play this :P
Also, do you prefer using massive fleets to kill anything that gets near it or smaller fleets to conserve energy and resources, and using clever tactics instead?
i love when the A.I. talks shit.
