You know in the endng where Walhburg's character went back to his own time on Earth and found his world was changed into apes. Apes were cops, Lincoln statue was an ape. I think know why it was like that.

I think when the astronaut's monkey was caught in that storm, the monkey went back to earth only he was in stone age and accidentally taught all the monkeys' what knew. I think his monkey changed history on earth.
