In 2005, Ahmed and Ayman were jamming for fun , but this simple session gave birth to a new band, Wasted Land. The two melodic death metal fans ( admiring Gothenberg bands such as Dark Tranquility and In Flames ) then called Emad Mujalled and Sultan Alghamdi to join the band , Emad providing vocals and drums and Sultan playing bass. After recording their first song, "Death in War" they found out the song was a hit among metalheads and the band was asked to play live all over the world. So the band began searching for a permanent drummer for their live shows, the role was finally filled by Tameem, our new drummer.
