Glad you checked in. I video all kinds of stuff but mainly driving. All of my videos, I make for myself and it is pretty cool for me to go back and see where I was and what I was doing. I consider my channel to be my electronic memory channel. Just so you are not disappointed, please know that I do not "collect" friends or subscribers. 09 FEB 2011 - Daytona 500 is coming up soon. If you have an interest, I run a group on upickem for NASCAR. Pretty simple even if you don't know a thing about racing. Pick the 10 best finishers in as close order as possible to gain points and bragging rights. Don't know the best 10? then just look at the percentages that other people are picking. Groups is called North/South Classic 2012 and is found under the JOIN A PUBLIC GROUP tab. Not much else going on, just a lot of work. I'm starting to think I don't like the stuff.

07 JAN 2012 - Spending a few days in Boston taking care of things like putting on the snow tires, changing oil and recycling a bunch of collected stuff. Beautiful weather here for early January and for a change, no snow (yet) to deal with. Sitting here looking out over the morning sun on the VFW Forrest and drinking a little coffee. Now it is time to get to work.

28 DEC 2011 - I guess I will be making fewer commentw here on my youtube channel since it looks as if youtube is quickly moving to a user unfriendly mode by changing channel layouts and making it very difficult to view comments which just appeared on the old style. I suppose this is so they can fit more advertising. Ahh how I miss the old youtube and I'm sure it won't be long until the new channel design is required.

27 DEC 2011~ we had a great Christmas and no snow this year. Seems like about a year ago that we had over a foot and it was nasty after a week or two with no plows. my wife bought me an iPad2 32GB which I just love. So easy to use and much easier than getting my laptop. Haven't Been doing much except relaxing. Looking forward to New Year's.

22 DEC 2011 - I am taking a week off to relax and enjoy my family and friends. The weather here in VB has been quite tropical for this time of year but I haven't heard any complaints so beer is back in the fridge. No travel this holiday (for me) so I'll take that as good. I think I have a transmission issue with my truck so I have been looking through my video files for my archive copy of "Deliverance" so I am prepared. Guess all my high speed runs just wore out the Nissan 5 speed in 109,000 miles.

18 DEC 2011 - Wow, I can almost hear a sequence from Deliverance as youtube unveils their new channel design. Luckily they will let you revert to this version for now but as a 6 year tube member I know that these early suggestions lead to future designs which will be done and profits rule. I know youtube says they read all their feedback, it seems that once they have a mindset, that it is a done deal. I hate it just so you know. On the positive, had a great drive up to Blacksburg to Virginia Tech for graduation event. Several nice dinners and great time. Not a bad drive either, video

12 DEC 2011 - Things get really busy this time of year. Have most of the Christmas decorations taken care of for now. Haven't done any real shopping and it's getting close for Amazon shipping time. I have a publication to get out and a bunch of other work related stuff that takes up wayy too much of my time. Off to Blacksburg and VT for my daughter's boyfriend's graduation. My wife will fly into Roanoke so I'll scoop her there then to Blacksburg. Put about 5 coats of Collinite #845 on the LS400 then last few days. Also did my sink and counters with a few coats. No big travel (for me) planned for Christmas this year.
