About Me:
Im not the karaoke queen! I was always in a band, but dont want to waste my time playing with people who don't put in any effort. So, I'd rather sing with these tracks that are reliable so I can be heard. I am ready to go if I get the call...until then I have always been noted for my tenacity!
I write, sing and play all the instruments on all my own original songs, except I'm not playing bass. I do my own engineering and producing and record everything from home on my Roland VS1880; only because I don't have Mutt Lange, Dan Huff or anyone like that too do it for me. I would rather do it myself unless I had someone like that to do it for me because I will get as close to what I want or closer than anyone else could.
I don't really consider myself a guitar player. I'm no Hendrix, I'm no Page, but I get by enough to record my stuff and sometimes I do something (it just comes out) and I couldn't tell you how I was able to play it. I would obviously prefer to have someone else play guitar and I can just sing...write etc.
I have been in and out of bands all my life and lived in a recording studio from the time I was brought home as a baby from the hospital sleeping in a crib behind the control room.
I am still in pursuit of that elusive goal, I think actions speak louder than words and I don't have to say what I have worked all my life towards. It's unfortunate that the perfect or even half-ass not even close to perfect but would work opportunity has yet to present itself - maybe it never will - I remain optimistic.
There are a lot more things I would like to tell you, but then you would know too much about me...
I would like to write with Joe Elliott (he only lives a train ride away from me), Rick Savage and Def Leppard and Jimmy Page. I wish I could do one album with Jimmy Page all new material, would be so cool. C'mon Jimmy give me a call, who cares what other people think. Robert doesn't want to tour so I'll do it!
Who knows what the future brings...I'm open to whatever and where ever life takes me...Whatever it takes to be happy!
