Now every night around midnight
I'm walking down a lonely street
with no streetlights just trying 2 keep right
And get back on course cuz now I'm half lost
And my only companion is jack frost
My souls cold tho not as cold as the road
So the goal when I stroll is 2 dodge the wind
when it blows
and find someone who knows where to go
but I'm on my own all alone
So there ain't really no where to go..OH
I got a dream and a promise
With no road map,map quest,compass
or an accomplice
No turning back cuz life ain't a cul de sac
Plus the bread crumbs I left became lunch
snack for the rats
Really need to cover my tracks
So my seed don't walk the same path as dad
and ask dough for a cab
Strutting a lonely street can drive you mad
And my point of no return has just been passed & all I ask is that.....
