About Me:
I live in rural Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. I write songs, poetry and prose and enjoy photography as well. I have two websites featuring wildlife photography and poetry; if you visit the first one there's a link to the other. My YouTube name "Silharima" is a tribute to my beloved Arabian stallion, Asil Harb, and his son Rim-Sin. Both are deceased now.
I'm always so very grateful to hear from everyone and I usually comment on channels that are closely related to my own interests, or introduce me to new ideas that I find intriguing. I don't do sub-for-sub as I'd rather have subscribers who actually want to watch my videos. Subscription numbers mean nothing if they don't translate into views. Please post comments if anything I've done here moves or touches you in some way.
One thing though: I've noticed a recent increase in the number of channels that promote hatred or conflict among various groups. If you are maintaining this kind of channel, please don't subscribe to mine!! I don't want to be associated with such material in any way. This is why I am now forced to approve all comments - an inconvenience to everyone concerned, but necessary.
