March on Crystal City
At noon on March 21, 2009, ANSWER Coalition held a "March on the Pentagon". The demonstration, expressing opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, gathered at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. The march route took demonstrators over Arlington Memorial Bridge into Arlington, Virginia, and then turned south, heading down through the Pentagon Reservation and then into Crystal City, Virginia. Due to the march's spending more time and energy in Crystal City than at the Pentagon, I have dubbed this demonstration the "March on Crystal City" rather than ANSWER's preferred name.
