Yep, it was 1996. From '84 until '96 KMTV carried Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune at 4:30 and 6:30 PM but lost their contract when Oprah moved from KETV Channel 7 ABC Omaha (Hearst Television station) to KMTV (Journal Broadcasting). In the process, Judge Judy debuted from 4-5 PM on KETV thus, they only carry Wheel of Fortune which is on at 6:30 PM and WOWT (Former sister station of KRON San Francisco, now Gray Television) slotted Jeopardy! at 4:30 PM. Their not the only market to do this. KFOR (NBC) and KOCO (ABC) in Oklahoma City carry Jeopardy! and Wheel too on their Channels (J! is at 3:30 and 4 PM on KFOR while WoF is on at 6:30 PM on KOCO 5. So that's what i know for sure about KMTV, WOWT and KETV airing J! and WoF.

BTW Samsticka, I recently acquired a Jeopardy! episode from the 1990 Teen Tournament from February 16, 1990 and best of all, it's taped off of KMTV 3 CBS in Omaha when the station aired J! and WoF at 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM before those two shows got seperated and moved to WOWT/KETV sometime in 1996. I'll be uploading that next.
