Something I strongly feel in the culture of todays poppers, alot of emphasis is on technique, battling, dance/groove, and moves. But I feel there isn't alot of emphasis on "telling a story" with your dance. What I mean by that is hard to explain, but easy to understand once you see it. You have to bring your audience to a rise, and a fall, bounce between those as you play with concepts. Its about having good transitions that are visible and understandable, and not moving on to another different move right away. It takes alot of patience and understanding of music too. I admit I am guilty of not following this sometimes, but I always try my best to tell a story with ideas, creativity, my interpretations of the music, and what my soul feels to do through my body. I did a little bit here, and hopefully it can be of some inspiration to the open minded. By the way this is a recording of the first time ever hearing this particular song. And I have to give a mad fuckin sshoutout to the creator of this beat. Hearing this for the first time really stimulated my soul and mind and brought out some crazy shit it me, so bigs up to the creator: RONALD JENKEES - STAY CRUNCHY

I promised the Abrahart family I would freestyle for them while I spent a week in GA, and never got around to it. So while in TX with my bestfriend, Paulina Citzman (whom you should youtube search as well for AMAZING vocals), I made a video dedicated to them.
Peace
