Hello everyone,
My name is Samer Fanek and I'm a computer science graduate student at the University of Illinois. My true passion is playing the piano and electronic keyboard by ear only and making instrumental music in my home studio (see the equipment used in the About Me section). Please don't ask me for sheet music as I'm not capable of reading notes.
Over the years, I have perfected my gift of perfect pitch and listening to a song once or a few times, simultaneously recognizing all the instruments used in that song, and instantly playing it by ear on the piano/keyboard in addition to freely improvising on the spot.

I'm totally addicted to playing the piano and also love composing and making instrumental music in my home studio. By making music, I mean arranging, recording, mixing and mastering all the tracks of all the instruments used in my compositions (or covers) without having ever attended music school or any knowledge of reading sheet music.
I've been doing a lot of instrumental music creation and production and experimented with a lot of hardware and software on my computers probably since 1999.
My lifetime goal is to make a career as an instrumental music composer and producer.
