About Revolution on NBC

Power is everything. Phones, cars, computers, satellites, they all depend on electricity. So what if one day, like a cord yanked from the wall, our lifeline is cut and the world goes dark. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals can't function, and communication is impossible.

It's 15 years after the blackout, and the world has become a seemingly far less complicated place: families live in quiet cul-de-sacs, grow their own food and eat by candlelight. Life seems simpler and sweeter, but on the fringes, danger lurks.

When a travelling militia kills a local man, who -- unbeknownst to his family -- had information about the power loss, his daughter and an unlikely crew of companions set off on a daring journey to find answers about the past -- in the hopes of reclaiming the future.
