Q: Why did you start the MondoNation channel?

A: Well, two reasons really. One, we are so impressed with all the great work the fans are constantly doing with Mondo properties all over YouTube, we thought it would be fun to have one place for everyone to post that work. It's kind of like fan central, one place where they can enjoy and comment on each other's work. This way, we can instigate some fun fan rivalry by throwing down some fun themed challenges.

The other reason is we just love finding new original animation and instead of searching all over the web for it, we thought if we had one place to showcase it to all the Mondo fans, they would come to us. Call us lazy, but who knows what we'll discover, right?

Q: Do I have to turn over any rights to my work?

A: No, all ownership rights to your original work remain yours. You don't hand over anything and you can show it anywhere else. You just give us a license to display it. It's time we started seeing other people anyway, right?

Q: Why should I put my work on MondoNation?

A: If you are using Mondo shows, like Happy Tree Friends, to make mash-ups, AMVs or other imaginative videos, then what better place to show them off than on a channel full of Mondo Mini Show fans? And if you have original animation or even a series of animations, now you can get them in front of the same millions of fans! Of course you can post them anywhere else too, but you know our fans love them some good animation and so do we! And frequently we will be picking out the crème of the crop and showing clips of these pieces on our Mondo Mini Shows channel!

Q: Does it have to be a new video?

A: No, actually some of the stuff that is already out there is awesome and we would love to have you re-post it here to be part of the nation. So if you have something up already, or if you know someone who has posted some cool stuff, tell them to add it here too.

Q: Can I promote my own channel?

A; Yes, of course. It's all about you, after all. Let the fans know who you are. Promote your name, your channel, your school or your recipe for spam casserole. It's up to you.

Q: Why isn't my video online?

A: Since we look at everything before posting it, it might take a while before it gets approved for the channel. We don't want to overwhelm our subscribers with a gazillion new vids at one time. We also want to make sure there isn't any stuff like old Barry Manilow music videos trying to sneak in the mix.
