Right on! Bamboo is a great plant and I love it. I grow many species and in your climate you could also grow many. Been so busy with work and doing stuff around my own property there is never enough time in a day. The weather has been awesome, but I know winter is just around the corner. There are Bamboo species that will grow in your area, and also some palms as well. I have shipped a lot of Palm seeds and palm to Tennessee over the years. I kn ow of an old dude in the sw corner of your state that has been growing palms in his garden for nearly 50 years now. His place is a jungle!
