Love your channel, man. Your review of the Juguar Bass Special helped confirm that I needed to get that bass. I've had it for a few months now and man, does that kitty purr.

Thanks Max, I haven't played any Gibson made instruments in a long time but I did remember them being kind of bulky. I went to look at the EB0 yesterday and it sounded pretty good but wasn't much room to play funk (slap) because of the humbucking sidewinder pickup under the neck and it was very neck heavy so like you said standing and playing wouldn't have been very comfortable, so once again I proved I'm a die hard Fender guy. I wound up getting a 1995-96 MIM Fender Jazz Bass it was used but in very good condition minus a bit of dust and a couple stickers (that have now been removed) but she sounds great and has all the things I love about Fender good solid tone nice action and a fast moving neck and comfortable to play . Thanks again for the advice, much respect! -James

Great videos man! I was wondering if you have played the Epiphone EB 0 bass? If so any likes/dislikes about it, I need a bass to gig with and don't want to use my Fender Jazz- I don't really want to put it through playing out again ( the road took its toll on it plus I've had it for about twelve years, kind of attached) and also looking for a different sound. I have played the Rickenbacker 4003 and really love the tone of them and considered getting one but I don't really want to go with a used Ric and to have one made for me it wouldn't ship to me until Jan. 2013 ( not saying they aren't worth the wait) but am needing something with in the next month or so, any pros and cons on the EB 0 or suggestions on a bass to check out would be very much appreciated!

Keep making your videos and playing bass, much respect!

Dude, could you run us through the differences in sound or just general differences between the different types of pickup (like say the difference between split and single coil)?

Hey, Dr. Maxproud. Oh,...no it's nothing like that. (lol!) better yet, go to "DARLINBASS.COM"website . Just want you to check out some other basses Let me know what you think about the (2) that I sent you. Maybe you'll like to order a couple too. That's all. Nothing special.

Thanks,
Coop'
