A little too fast in my opinion. But a lot of energy. At least Schiff plays the fast scales correctly. Gilels doesn´t. Gilels must, by the way, be one of the most energetic pianists ever. He is titaneous! He ROCKS!

Zimerman must be one of the greatest chopin players in history. This is exellent. Listen to the fast parts; smooth and with a lot of emotion and powerful in the same time. The slow parts; full of expression and so soft and living. This is the most brilliant interpretation of the Ballade 1.
