Allah (God) says in the Quran (Muslim holy book).

"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims." 41:33

To any non-Muslims who are visiting this page, I encourage you to take the time to learn more about Islam. Talk to Muslims and read what they have written. There are more than 1.2 billion Muslims in the world. Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world. There must be something about it that is appealing to a lot of people, and satisfying to a lot of people! Don't just take the word of the media on it, read and learn for yourself and make your own decision.

Say: "God has spoken the truth: follow, then, the creed of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false, and was not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God."

Say: 'We believe in God and the revelation given to us and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and message given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to all Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and it is unto Him that we surrender ourselves." [Q2:136]

I love Allah because He first loved me.
"..Allah will bring a people whom HE WILL LOVE and they will love Him.." (Qur'an 5:54).

أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأشهد أن محمدا رسول الله
I bear witness that there is no god except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

Salvation is obtained by the Grace of God (Allah) as a gift from Him. We can never truly deserve this amazing gift from Allah no matter how much faith we have and no matter how many good deeds we do. Yet salvation is based on a simple condition that we must have faith in Allah and do what He wants us to do.

Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"None of you will be saved by his deeds." They said, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allāh?" He said, "Not even me, unless Allāh should encompass me in mercy. So be upright in deeds and do what you are able, and take advantage of the early morning and evening, and some of the late night. Remember moderation, remember moderation! And you will reach the destination."
(Al-Bukhārī # 6463 and Muslim # 2816).
