PLEASE FOR ANY INFO IN DETAIL READ THE AOS FAQ: http://www.reverbnation.com...
This channel is devoted to sampling in House music and in other styles in general. The 'Art Of Sampling' (AOS) serie discuss about sampling issues, House classics through time, etc. The information is given to the viewer with examples and/or various visual and auditive samples to complete the program. One can get the feel of being in 1978 watching a psychedelic underground TV program, very imperfect, just like TV was back then.
My own tracks / ideas are presented 'on the side' in 'Late Night Sampling Madness'. There are a couple of club mixes, club tracks and videos featured in the rest of my uploads. All tracks are from my personal collection, listed on Discogs, a database where I work with hundreds of souls to share our knowledge of music and link everything together.

--- LATEST NEWS ---
Ahh, spring time. I needed this so badly and here we are. Like we say in French 'ENFIN!' which means 'AT LAST!'. :)
I know a lot of you are looking forward to see 'TRON: LEGACY'. I might sound out of date but I never saw the first 'TRON' to begin with. What I remember from 'TRON' was the arcade game that I played somewhere in the 1980's in a very scary arcade called 'LE CASINO' located on Plaza St-Hubert. It was fun overall. There was also the 'TRON' pinball game. :)
So, at last, all the Daft Punk fanatics will get some new material. I will certainly give it a try, as I always did in the past, and so will you. And we'll have the complete year to talk about it.
I have a lot of stuff to upload but things are getting a little bit more difficult. Sometimes, you need to say a lot to prove your points or to convince others. That's exactly what I need for some of the things I would like to talk on You Tube. Another problem is the departure in language. My main language being French, I always need to translate everything in my mind first, and then pass it on. It may sound easy, but it can get really difficult sometimes. I hope to find a way soon.
I always buy new 'old music' lol. Which means music that has been on my 'TO BUY' list for the past 15 years. I'm always glad to upload some of the tracks that I came across with in my life. If I can make you discover new music, or help you, or uplift you, then I'm very glad to do so. I am very honored to see so many subscribers to my channel and I thank you for you support, your help and your knowledge.
I just completed a remix of 'THEME FROM THE ART OF SAMPLING' and some other tracks: all are available on my personal ReverbNation page. The link is located in this box. Thanks for downloading and/or listening my tracks :)
---------
There is another video on You Tube called 'The Art Of Sampling' made by a black guy about Hip Hop music and chopping. THIS IS NOT ME. WE ARE NOT RELATED IN ANY WAY. I discovered his video AFTER I started my serie and so the fact that our videos share the same name is nothing but a coincidence.
So anybody leaving messages that I should have 'kept my Hip Hop roots' and stuff like that is complete nonsense. Please look at who uploaded the video first before posting a message or a judgment. Thanks!

You can find me on Discogs (my name is on the first page of contributors with over 10 000 points), You Tube, ReverbNation, MySpace, Facebook, and all sorts of depraved sites on the WWW.
Living with Asperger syndrom. It's not easy everyday, but I have to do it I suppose. My passion is House music. I have several sub-passions, but there are too many to tell here.
My main language is French. In my life, I studied arts, litterature and all styles of music, starting with classical.

Music:
I am into House music since 1990. I also had in interest in Eurodance from 1991 to 1995, but it quickly fell apart. I also listened some Trance along the way. I like the 4/4 beat. I just can't dance on snything else than 4/4. Big respect to Deee-Lite, Pet Shop Boys, Jam & Spoon, Dimitri From Paris, Nick Holder, Kid Crème... so many names, so many great tracks...

No one can actually change the world of music intentionally; it always happened all of a sudden, with no precise intentions. So the point is not necessary to try to change something about it (to 'try' sounds already very pretentious), but to make it evolve in something exciting, imaginative, cinematic and universal :)

I always try to check all the tracks and videos sent to me, but it's almost impossible to check them all. If it's music, try to surprise me, because with almost 800 CD's and files from Beatport and Junodownload, you can imagine how much I am already deep into it. In fact, this is the key to the future of music: imagination and surprise.

Hello to all :) Answer to maskednil : Yes, I have already heard that track on Beatport (I listen to almost 1000 tracks a month). It was sampled more than once.
Your comments are always welcome and I thank all of you for watching my videos and especially the AOS serie turning 50 episodes this week. Hope you enjoyed up to this day :)

In your video the art of sampling 14 you showed the song " Chilly - For your love " being sampled. I just heard a house music recently which also samples the song. its called " Your Love (008) by Discofunk". check it out, its quite good.
