I have learned that the "roll-olff" type of trash trucks are one of the few left with manual transmissions. I got to go for a short ride up a hill in one. A nice Granite model Mack, 13-speed. Splitting those are something. I have learned that you start out as if it was a 10-speed, and once you make your split into the direct range, then you split every gear. I have been taught by an ATHS memember that upshifts are always first, and downshifts are always second. Another ATHS member states if you do your split out of sequence, you can really tear things up!

I forgot to tell you, I collect model trucks and a member of the American Truck Historical Society. I also love Transit Oriented Development where crack houses gets scrapped and much more useful building takes their place. I prefer working and going to truck shows than joining a gang. Gangs are stupid. Working a real job and attending truck shows keeps me out of trouble.
