This is my african dunun robot. This electronic friend plays the melody on the 3 dununs while i can concentrate on playing the djembe patterns. After making a midi file, the midi-player or laptop sends the midi information to a decoder to finally drive the electric drumsticks. Getting the idea was more easy than building it.
Specially finding the drumstick-actuators, making no noise, consuming not too much power and responding quickly enough was timeconsuming.

A mi kis fenegyerekünk kicsit lenyomta a
"tűzkezűt". Még az én kamerám se volt képes felvenni a lábdobot 5:30-nál... :D
Tha Hungarian boy was a little bit better, than the "hands of fire". My camera couldn't record the really fast bass drum at 5:30... :D
