About this user
Despite My youtube page, I also like Trains.
Today, my hobbies are Flightsim, Avaition, Railfanning, Trainspotting,
Golf, Soccer, Model UN, and more
I have a few favorite aircraft and Airlines
sadly however, my favorite aircraft is no longer the American Airlines 767-200, but rather the boeing 777-200, in virtually any airline. the A340-500 comes in a close second, its a shame most airlines don't seem to agree with that, however, they've opted for the -600 which in my opinion is much too long.
Lately, I have been closely analyzing the 787 and A380, both aircraft have interesting features, like the A380's six independent Ailerons, which double as flaps, and take part in the airbrake function. Alas, boeing has developed a medium-long range airliner with just a single flap, a feat Airbus has accomplished for decades now. Boeing indicated in a NASA study of high-lift devices, that it would be utterly impossible to pull that off with a 777 series aircraft, which probably explains complicated tripple fold on the inboard set.
One of the little things that bugs me is the fact that just about each commercial airliner today has its own special signature... that is its own special way of deploying the airbrakes. something to this day, many aircraft developers ignore.
At my peak my Flight Simulator folder was an excess of 60 Gigabytes... Mostly Freeware, but there was nothing I didn't have modeled nicely.
GO TO avsim.com and register with their file library. AIRCRAFT, AIRPORTS
new LANDCLASS, anything you want, its there
Any questions about installation, drop an email, my address is at the bottom.
If you know anything about Flight Simulation, then you must know about FSdreamteam and Flytampa. The background is John F kennedy International Airport. Despite my hometown, I actually live in Chicago, Illinois -- GO BEARS!!! and O'Hare International Airport...
Sorry about that, you should probably check out www.fsdreamteam.com, and www.flytampa.com....
Imaginesim.com has some really nice airport sceneries as well
I own both FS9 and TRS06, and Classics, however I don't use them much as they interfere with my schoolwork.
IF you fly the 747, don't neglect PMDG, and CLS, for the 200-300 series... and the 767 I flew, pictured somewhere in the background is from Level D simulations.
My favorite Railroad is Metro North,
SIMWINGS for awesome european airports for FS9 - FSX -- again why you don't already know this... bugs me.
any questions... drop a message at my email
