About Me:

I work as a music teacher, choir director and a singer.I like opera, sing often some arias or canzonas on conserts .I also sing folkmusic on a restaurant perhaps ten times per month,I play a guitar and sometimes I end with a song like O sole mio.I go to the gym,and am quite strong,160 kg. in benchs press. I tested the vocal power few days ago .Got 103 decibels shouting, but 97-98 decibels singing high notes like high B and B flat.I had to put the head in a box to test and I think I can make a stronger sound when I stand normally.Hopefully I can then make more than a 100 decibel high notes. I think it would be heard in the bigest operahouses. I am glad I found this place where I could test my vocal size.I have (of course) never heard my sing in person and was not sure how big my voice is.

I just Heard In Fermen Land...all i can say is you are a fantastic Tenor! That was one to be compared to Volker, and Heppner. Just Amazing! Congradulations!

Hi I'm no expert, but I would say you have a really nice lyric tenor voice. I think your voice would really suit a song like "where ere you walk". By the way I too am a really huge Mario Lanza fan, and agree there should be a memorial concert.

Dear Kari, sometimes loving, understanding and feeling music is something totally different than interpreting it. I understand you love it but that is not enough to make you sing it as well.

Hey, you're sounding very good now...a lot of talent! I like where your voice has changed these past few months. Want to be friends? I'm training also =D

as you asked on your video, Im asnwering the best I can. You push too much to sing, and you are a Leggiero tenor, or a Lyric. Probably a low Leggiero.

impressive that you can get it without training, but probably should have had some training long b4 now.

Support the sound from your body. Alot of it seems like it came straight from the throat. Use your body and your lower abs to support the air flow and it will be much easier to sing the higher notes. The sound will also be better and fuller, with a natural overtone. I wasn't sure if you opened flat but you definitely started going flat afterwards, which was really obvious on the 2nd note, the Bb.
