hey im just like sendin you a comment about ur turtles shell problems.
its natural for them to lose little bits of there shell and small layers to come off, they're just growing. If the shell is soft or bit chunks and big layers starts coming off the shell then take it to the vet. also try a calcium supplement

I have my own turtle, but to be reli sure i got some of that off the internet.
