Sastavimo tri prsta desne ruke - palac, kažiprst i srednji, ali potpuno ravno, zato što ova tri prsta simbolički predstavljaju Svetu Trojicu - Oca, Sina i Svetog Duha, koja su jedno po biću i suštini svojoj. Druga dva prsta priljubimo uz dlan. Kad smo tako sastavili prste desne ruke, njima dodirujemo čelo i kažemo: "U ime Oca" . Zatim spuštamo ruku na grudi u visini srca govoreći: "I Sina". Onda podignemo ruku i dodirnemo prvo desno pa lijevo rame i kažemo: "I Svetoga Duha". Potom skrstimo desnu preko lijeve ruke i kažemo: "Amin" , što znači: neka tako bude.
