When I was in 8th grade I began making terrible videos set to pop songs I liked at the time. This interest became more of a hobby in highschool and I began "composing" my own tunes in Garageband (basically just dragging the loops they include in the program over top of each other). About my sophomor year, I bout myself Logic Pro 8 and began studying the ways of a DAW. As my love for music grew,so did my interest for video. I experimented heavily with audio/video works and finally made my first origional little music video, "One Man Band." Looking back on it is a trip, but its funny because I am still doing the exact same thing- making music and putting video to it. I bought Final Cut Studio and began studying the somewhat daunting area of video formats, editing techniques, etc.. My senior year of high school I bought a Canon 7D with the kit lens. The first video I made with it was "Empty School" and I continue to use it for videos here in Boston, MA. I am attending Berklee College of Music for either Music Producion and Engineering, Film Scoring, or Pro Music. I don't quite know yet, given that my passion is not confined to music, but the art of film as well. Whatever happens, I will always continue to make music and videos, even if I end up working at Deny's.
