G.I. Joe: Resolute: Part 11, The Finale. For more on G.I. Joe Resolute, G.I. Joe, and Snake Eyes, please visit http://www.arashikageclan.com
The final part of the Resolute movie was not released online like the previous 10 episodes, but was aired as part of the entire show on adult swim as a midnight movie.
Director: Joaquim Dos Santos Writer: Warren Ellis Aired: 25 April 2009 (USA) on Adult Swim (Cartoon Network)
* At the end of the film, Duke reads his report as it is typed across the screen. When he says "On our return to the site", the screen shows the following being typed: "Honor returned to the site".
* Charles Adler succeeds Chris Latta in two respects: he voices Cobra Commander in this series, and had voiced the Decepticon Starscream in Transformers (2007). Both Cobra Commander and Starscream were voiced by Latta in "G.I. Joe" (1985) and "Transformers" (1984).
* Each episode was followed by a code (relevant to that episode) that would unlock information on Hasbro's G.I. Joe: Resolute website. The codes, in chronological order of episodes, are: "HAUSER," "NINJA," "OHARA," "HINTON," "OLDSNAKE," "SIBERIA," "OMSK," "DISGUISE," "HAARP" and "SPRINGFIELD." Part 11 had no code, as it was the end of the film.
* The series writer Warren Ellis had no prior knowledge of G.I. Joe, which he claims is why producer Sam Register brought him on board: "It went like this: Sam Register phoned me up and said 'We'd really like you to write a G.I. JOE animation, at a PG-13 rating, aimed at an older viewer.' I said 'I've never seen a G.I. JOE cartoon in my life. The closest I got to a G.I. JOE comic was drinking with Larry Hama. I've never even seen a G.I. JOE; couldn't tell you what they look like if you paid me. I know nothing about G.I. JOE. It is meaningless in my world.' 'Excellent,' Sam said, 'just the guy we need.' It was hard not to notice, at this point, that Sam Register is crazier than a sh***ouse rat. Therefore I decided to take the job."
* Whenever G.I. Joe and Cobra troops are engaged in a firefight, the Joes' gunfire produces orange muzzle flare, while the Cobras' gunfire produces blue muzzle flare. Just like in the classic G.I. Joe cartoons.
