Have you tried downgrading to 8.15 then upgrading it again? That's what I had to do. Hope pioneer doesn't charge you

The issue was the result of not doing the update in order. You must first do the yuk file then then hat file and everything should work flawless

I have this same setup but the new update 8.30 eliminated the audio from my mirror mode. I had to revert back to 8.15. did you experience the same thing?

Using an iPhone5 or iPad 4th Gen with your Pioneer AppRadio2 and an HDMI connector. The Pioneer 30 pin adapter does not support video, so this is an alternative solution for lightning cable users.

I got the optipac and the controller apart. Based on the pics you provided, it's difficult for me to tell which wires go to the optipac. Could I send you a picture so I could get it hooked up correctly?
