Hello, my name is Mckenzie, and I'm a singer and a songwriter.

I never really knew I could write songs until I picked up my mum's old guitar and found that I couldn't put it down.

Before that I was sitting in my laundry chute with a torch trying to write something decent, thinking that being there could give me more inspiration. Music is my way of saying things that I can't literally say. I tend to write about boys, and that tends to scare them... a lot.

A habit of mine is over-thinking everything, and making up situations, if this happens, then this could happen, and so on. I could meet a guy for the first time then imagine an entire relationship with him. It's kind of crazy, I know. My mum and dad are my best friends, and I love them with all my heart, without them I wouldn't be doing any of this.

I love school, biggest nerd. I love wearing pretty dresses. I love finding beauty in everything, the simple things that can make you happy. I love romantic movies, I'm the kind of girl who replays the kissing scene over and over again. I absolutely adore Audrey Hepburn, I admire her class, personality, and style.

My motto is dream, believe, achieve, because if you never achieve your dreams, you either didn't try hard enough, or you didn't want it badly enough.
