I have no idea on recommendations, you're better off asking on an RC forum. As for experience, you need quite a bit. It takes a lot of practice just to hover with stability.

Nevermind, I used this trainer goo(dot)gl/cE34X and used floating mode + no damage from environment. I just searched Google for 'Super Meat Boy trainer' and it was one from the CheatEngine forum (on his site, it's the +11 trainer).
Now I feel accomplished.
