The "most fiscally conservative Governor in the country," two-term Gov. Gary Johnson vetoed as many bills as all the other Governors combined, slashed taxes 14 times, and left New Mexico with one of only four balanced state budgets in the entire country.
Gov. Johnson is a successful entrepreneur who built a multi-million dollar company from scratch, and he is an accomplished athlete who has completed over 30 marathons and has summited four of the world's highest peaks, including Mt. Everest (which he finished, despite a broken leg).
