Albert Garzon. Started my career in the early 1980's as producer of Natalie Merchant and 10,000 Maniacs. Had Gold Record with "Hope Chest". Founded Community 3 Records in the mid 1980's and produced approx. 50 albums for that catalog. Joined the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus in early 1998 as their ragtime pianoman and created volumes of circus music to accompany the acts. In 2003 reactivated the Lydia Thompson Troupe from the 1860's as "Ixion Burlesque" (a/k/a The British Blondes), thereby adding Live Music, Group Choreography and Greek Mythology to the "neo" burlesque scene in NYC. "Ixion, or the Man at the Wheel" was revived and produced on 42nd Street (Tank Theater) during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Performers whose careers were launched include: Natalie Merchant, Brenda Kahn, Molly Crabapple (Dr. Sketchy's), Ruby Valentine, Veronica Varlow and many others.
