Sonia Oram, (b. 1988) is a violist, an artist of many media, and a comedian. She attends Oberlin Conservatory, earning a Bachelor's degree for viola performance, and taking studio art classes in the college. She has a radio show on the Oberlin Public Radio station called Happy times with Sonia and sometimes Cassie, where she plays musical comedy. Sonia has performed viola throughout the United States as well Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Spain, and Portugal. Her most recent debut was performing a concerto with the Hilton Head Symphony. Sonias artistic interests include film, painting, and cartooning. Her short film Breakfast was selected as part of the 2009 Oberlin Film Festival. Sonia has experience with circus arts, having been selected for the small student circus, Nocturne in 2008. In the circus she played the dinosaur Stega, juggled, played the viola, rode a unicycle, and rode a unicycle while playing the viola. Sonia has been number 50 most watched comedians on Youtube, where she shakes up the music world in her film Bartok on Unicycle.
