What did Jon use to draw , was it chalk or charchol ?

As a kid I loved watching and following his lessons, Jon Gnagy and viewing some of his clips reminds me of what seems almost yesterday. Today art is still a big part of my life and he certainly played a part in that point. Thanks Jon

It is amazing to see these clips from the old Jon Gnagy how-to-make-art show you posted on YouTube. Apparently, it was one of the most popular TV series at the time, which, as you probably know, was at the very beginning of broadcast television.

Until now, I had only read about this show in an independent art magazine in the 80's. Yet it inspired and is referenced in my imaginary TV series, Each & Every One Of You (can make contemporary installation art).

Thanks so much for posting these Gnagy programs. I'm old enough to remember watching his programs on TV and bought his drawing sets. Sure brings back memories.
