Hey, This video rocks. I am a huge fan of this music. I am Peruvian myself but really grew up here for the most part. These are the funkiest rhythms on the planet in my opinion. Very hot music. I am so glad you made a video about it.

Thanks,

Mig

Hi! I'm Elena from USF and would love to talk to you about your Perú Negro documentary....I'm not sure how far along youa re but I'd like to show it at my school. Alternatively, I'd love to see if you know any groups that can perform for a small performance at my school. Please let me know. Thank you!

Hello DVRosa,
My name is Mark. My filmmaking partner Lezra and I are putting together a documentary on Afro-Peruvian music. We were really excited to see your video on Peru Negro. As you know, there isn't much devoted to Afro Peruvian music in terms of film. We'd love to talk with you sometime about your experience working with them and also potentially using some of your footage in our film. We hope to interview some of the Peru Negro performers, though our film will follow different types of Afro Peruvian musicians and dancers. Your work with them is really impressive and we're so glad to know there are other artists dedicated to bringing this music and performance to world view.

Best,
Mark Austin
