I still buy DVDs and CDs. I spend far more money than I should on them. I also go to the movies at least two or three times a month.
PERSONAL STEAL THIS FILM COMMENTARY:
I posted the Steal This Film sections of Part 1 because I have a serious problem with the greed in the MPAA and RIAA. Copyrights, fine. But when they're so eager to sell units that they tell you that if you want a backup copy, buy a second one, you have a serious issue. There are so many things of interest on all sides. They honestly seem to believe everyone can spend money to buy two of everything.
Mothers with kids -- kids at certain stages will get ahold of and fuck up anything until they are even halfway able to be taught not to. There is usually a dvd/cd/etc destruction stage. Telling mothers to buy two or three of everything?
That's just insane. Especially when discs are made to be so fragile. Feel free to research the previous sentence.
