(Sri Anandamayi Ma was almost continiousely in the state of nirvikalpa samādh. This is the highest transcendent state of consciousness. Description about this degree of samadhi please find below.

First and foremost:
Don´t take any of my words for truth, they are my point of view only.
The only certain expression of truth in any philosophic conversation is "Yes, that is a viewpoint", because of truth is relative to the point of view from which it is perceived.
I don´t introduce "myself" because "I am" is easily overhelmed by adjectives.
The real answer to "Who am I?" is the awakening of enough self-determinism to ask a more interesting question.
The idea that we have of self is what seperates us from source.
Source is undefined.
Source has no limitation that it does not choose and no freedom that it does not create.
That for we are bound only by our decision to have boundings.
One question I often get asked is about the ego:
The ego arises when we begin to defend or acclaim the definition we have assumed.
One of its purpose is to aquire attention particles from others, overtly or cowertly and its primary interest is not in (*)becoming enlightened(*) but in receiving the praise of its neighbors.
Ego also is a failure to recognize that we are involved in a symbiotic system, as well as the ego is fundamentally concerned with calculating its own imagened advantage (etc. etc...).
True spirituality offers no benefit to the ego - only extinction.
(*)There is really no such a thing as "becoming enlightened" because of how can you become what you have always been - what your source is - and you are just unaware about because its hidden behind the veils of our own creations at the moment?
Another frequently asked questions is about the state of nirvikalpa samādh.
I will describe this degree of samadhi in the words of Paramahansa Yogananda:
"In the most advanced state of samadhi (nirvikalpa), the soul realizes itself and Spirit as one. The ego consciousness, the soul consciousness, and the ocean of Spirit are seen all existing together. It is the state of simultaneously watching the ocean of Spirit and the waves of creation. The individual no longer sees himself as a "John Smith" related to a particular environment; he realizes that the ocean of Spirit has become not only the wave of John Smith but also the waves of all ofter lives. In nirvikalpa the soul is simultaneously conscious of Spirit within and creation without. The divine man in the nirvikalpa state may even engage in performance of his material duties with no loss of inner God-union."
Joys and sorrows are time-born and cannot last. Therefore, do not be perturbed by these.
At least for a few seconds each day, we must enquire as to who we are. It is no use taking a return ticket over and over again. From birth to death and from death to birth is samsara. But really we have no birth or death. This is maya. Watch and see with what endless variety of forms we play the game of our maya with ourselves alone.
Realisation could be useful.
Try to treat with equal love all the people with whom you have relations. Thus the abyss between "myself" and "yourself" will be filled in, which is the goal of all religious worship.
Consider well about whom you want to listen to because following another´s path mostly leads you to who they are, not to who you are.
This happens because of one of the things that is missed by many purveyors of self-centered success courses is, that they themselves have graduated out of merely working for their own advancement and are now motivated to see others succeed.
Many people ask me: Are you a Guru, a Master, a spiritual teacher etc.?
The question is not if I am a Guru, a Master or anything like - no - the question is:
Are YOU aware about that YOU are a Master? The one and only Master of your own destiny, your own circumstances, your own life?
If you are not aware about it by now just try to work more on your own conciouness-control - best would be to search for support from a reliable spiritual teacher - and you will be aware quite soon.
This will be the moment for you to be able to create and discreate in full consciousness because this is awakening.
From this second on you gain mastery over this power.
(You will recognize "your" master in less than a second as soon as you meet him / her.)
Abandon concerns with what happens to you, because what it happens to is not you. And to what is you, nothing ever happens.
