About Me:
I'm a 28 year old guy, happily married (to youtuber 'alteredlabel') with two cats, one son and a tank of tropical fish.
I'm a professional freelance software developer and make my living working with and for my various clients around the world (although I work largely from home - this should explain the 13k+ videos that I've watched on YouTube on this account!).
I'm a freethinker, a humanist, a skeptic and a rationalist and I deconverted from Fundamentalist Evangelical Christianity in 2007 after a process that took about nine months and involved a substantial existential crisis and for all practical purposes, estrangement from some extremely fundamentalist members of my family and my previous fundamentalist friends. None of these people wish to discuss, talk, debate, reason or rationalise anything with me. They like their faith to be kept safe, in a jar, by their bedside (unless they're proslyetising, of course).
I am not a scientist and have not been published in any journals, although I work with scientists and some of the world's leading scientific companies.
