Mega Man X2 Samples:
http://www.mediafire.com/?z...
This is how I got the samples:
1. download any spc file from snesmusic.org that contains the instruments you want to extract
2. tune and extract wav of instrument and get correct loop values with SPC Tool (get it from www.alpha-ii.com and don't forget to read the documentation)
3. open wav with wave editor (I use OpenMPT) and set loop values
I use Reason 4 as sequencer, cause it makes applying reverb/delay/pitchbend effects very easy. I load the wav files into separate NNXT sampler units to use them as instruments. Additionally, I set pitch bend range to 2, turn the NNXT filters off and "amp envelope release" all the way down, except when I want reverb. The LFO is good for automatic vibrato, usually I delay it by a few tenths of a second. For delay effects I use DDL-1.
