This takes me to an email from (yet another) former athlete asking for clarification on the logic behind the workouts he's doing (in late August) in his new college program.
I didn't understand the logic, unless the goal was soft tissue damage.
So, using that microcycle as the example, I want to cover 3 Rules for Writing Workouts that you should keep in mind when plotting your annual/seasonal
progressions this season.
And, for those of you who think I talk too much, I kept the video under 10 minutes, which is the best I can do....
