For my subscribers (and potential subscribers) what you can expect in the near future: more of my music, both instrumental and original songs, some more recordings of my father, some vlog goodness every now and then, and I'm working on producing some of my skits, stories, and satirical songs in different formats I'm experimenting with.

Eventually, if I have the time and resources to post videos more regularly and professionally, I'll split this into separate channels, but for now that's a long-term goal.

One of my new heroes is Frank Zappa. I'd like to accomplish something like what he did- skirting the fringes of pop music while being saturated in classical and modern ideas and worlds.

But more. I want to tell stories and make films and do satire... So, imagine Zappa, merged with some Kubrick.
And mash some Jon Stewart and Mark Twain and the Simpsons in there. And maybe that's close to what I hope to be.

(Oh, and Spiderman, too.)

I should say that if I've added you as a friend, it's because I think we have something in common and I'd like to keep in touch with you, or that you might be interested in my youtube adventures. Occasionally (very rarely) I add someone somewhat randomly just for fun. But I've most likely looked at your channel or comments first. I won't send you vids every 5 minutes (unlike SOME people...) but I do when I'm excited about something, or think you might find it interesting. I also DO keep an eye on friends' activities- I often watch what you favorite and rate and upload, and ALWAYS try my best to watch what is sent to me, particularly if you add a personal note.

PS- I do NOT respond to "sub4sub" requests. Don't even bother. It's the stupidest thing ever. I rarely sub, b/c if I do, I'm more or less gonna watch EVERYTHING you upload. If you wanna watch my vids, then subscribe. If you don't, then don't. What's the point of having a "subscription" if you never watch what they post?
As I said, I try to often check in on my youtube friends (see above.)

Robert P. Mitchell, II is a composer and writer currently living in South Korea. In high school, he attended the Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division. He got his Bachelor of Music in Composition from the Mannes College of Music, where he studied under Robert Cuckson, Carl Schachter, David Loeb, and others.

He got his Master of Music in Composition at the Florida State University, where he studied under Ladislav Kubik.
