Lyrics:
Even if you were a million miles away I could still feel you in my bed Near me, touch me, feel me And even at the bottom of the sea I could still hear inside my head Tellin' me, touch me, feel me
And all the time you were tellin' me lies
So tonight, I'm gonna find a way to make it without you Tonight I'm gonna find a way to make it without you I'm gonna hold on to the times we had tonight I'm gonna find a way to make it without you
Have you ever tried sleeping with a broken heart? Well, you could try sleeping in my bed
Lonely, own me nobody ever shut it down like you You wore the crown You made my body feel heaven bound Why don't you hold me Near me, I thought you told me You'd never leave me
Looking in the sky I could see your face And I know right where I fit in Take me, make me, you know that I'll always be in love With you Right til the end OOh
So tonight, I'm gonna find a way to make it without you Tonight I'm gonna find a way to make it without you I'm gonna hold on to the times we had tonight I'm gonna find a way to make it without you http://www.elyric...
Anybody could've told you right from the start It's about to fall apart So rather than hold on to a broken dream Or just hold on to love
And I could find a way to make it Don't hold on too tight I'll make it without you tonight
So tonight, I'm gonna find a way to make it without you Tonight I'm gonna find a way to make it without you I'm gonna hold on to the times we had tonight I'm gonna find a way to make it without you
Review:
Ever since her first (and still possibly best) hit single, "Fallin'", the presence of Alicia Keys has come to represent taste and realness in an excessively Auto-Tuned pop environment. With the addictive "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart", this tension plays out in the context of a single song. Keys' haunted, repetitive bad-dream loop is mirrored in the drums, steepened for maximum marching-band thud. There's an alienated but comforting synth whirr and the Prince-worthy melody is nearly elegiac, played on church organ until the cathartic Nintendo takes over. And Keys' easy naturalness inside the thick electronic production juices the thing with tossed-off hooks all over: listen for the killer "you know that I'll always be in love with you" before the second chorus that's more caramelized than harmonized. Even the bridge has a pulse. "Sleeping" is proof that Keys can find the warmth inside of a song even when she pushes away from the piano and the arrangement drifts into something colder and more abstract.Ever since her first (and still possibly best) hit single, "Fallin'", the presence of Alicia Keys has come to represent taste and realness in an excessively Auto-Tuned pop environment. As for myself, I'm trying to figure out how the hell I'm going to pull off a full portfolio seeing how my hand drawing abilities have deteriorated somewhat over the years (goddamn runescape!) lol. But other then that I've been writing songs and practicing more so on computer generated drawings which I think I've improved some bit on :o
but other then my isolated life, school and what not.
...And my alternative skillcape projects are being postponed momentary (if you include the last 8 months) due to lack of ideas and having no solution to that problem...
haha oh well, when something hits me there WILL be something ;)
You only seem to be getting better and better hehe! so what's new?
