Dont worry about those who claim "preaching is better then music". God's will must be for you to be doing music right now; otherwise you would be doing something else. God does not give us all the same duties, He just says. " Whatsoever you do, do it all to the glory of God." Caleb, music doesn't do much to change someone's eternity. You should learn the NT Bible as much as you can so that you will know how to preach a powerful, Jesus Christ setting people free from the bondage to sin, salvation message. Then you would be doing a lot better work for God. I was a musician for 27 years, but I gave it up so I could preach all the time in 1999. May God bless you to do His will. Amen.
