About this user

I believe that true reason applied to verifiable, observable evidence & information is the best way to reach a conclusion about an issue, if a conclusion is even possible.

I believe that every issue must have a certain set of facts upon which all parties to that issue must agree.

I am interested in watching any debate or trend in which one side or the other redefines its terminology, ideas, plans, strategies, tactics, and/or other derivations of their belief systems in an attempt to overcome objections from their opponents.

I detest the following:

1. Revisionists - because I believe that they are hiding from reality by relabeling losing arguments, as though the container determines the contents.
2. Disinformers - people who continually spread disinformation by arguing against verifiable evidence, using arguments that long ago were debunked.
3. The closed-minded - people who refuse to consider the validity of any argument which opposes their own.
4. Ideologues - specifically, people with some sort of power who seem to feel it necessary to project and/or force their beliefs onto everyone around them.
5. Emotionalists - people whose position is so weak that they must use emotional appeals (especially fear) in order to advance it.
